Jay N. Taylor, Managing Director is responsible for merger and acquisition representations
in the trucking and logistics industry. Over a 30 year career in transportation, he has
held executive positions in Schneider National, Tri-State Motor Transit, Country Wide
Truck Services and Union Pacific Railroad. He has significant public and private company
experience including as CEO of a public trucking company and President of a private
transportation company.
For the last 10 years, Mr. Taylor has represented buyers and sellers in the execution of
their merger and acquisition strategies. He has used his transportation, logistics and
financial management experience to maximize shareholder value in a variety of situations.
He has worked with every type of transportation and logistics company during the ups and
downs of the economic environment.
Mr. Taylor currently serves on the board of a publicly owned diversified transportation
company. He attends several well known transportation industry financial and educational
conferences. He holds an MBA from the University of Iowa, a BS from Iowa State University
and was a Captain, Field Artillery Branch, in the United States Army.

David C. Freeman, Director is a co-founder of Capital Resource Partners, Inc. and has been
associated with the transportation industry for over 30 years. He is responsible for merger
and acquisition representations in transportation and logistics. In addition, he uses his
experience and analytical expertise to lead client advisory services projects including valuations.
He has served as President of multiple trucking companies including Midwestern Distribution
which grew to $100 million revenue under his leadership before its sale to Leaseway Transportation.
After a time with Leaseway as Group Vice President, where he managed the start-up of its LTL division,
he co-founded Beta Group, an analytics and crisis management company focused on the trucking industry.
He was also President of a publically traded trucking company that grew to $50 million revenue through
acquisitions.
Mr. Freeman has been involved in numerous trucking and logistics company acquisitions for clients.
He has managed the turnaround and restructuring of several motor carrier operations and testified
as an expert witness in a significant legal action. He currently serves on the private board of a
mid-sized diversified trucking company. He regularly attends several transportation industry
conferences. Mr. Freeman attended the University of Kansas majoring in economics.
